Call for abstracts

Proposed papers under the following topics will be considered
for oral and poster presentations during the workshop:
- Biological nitrogen removal from high loaded streams
- Partial nitritation processes: stability, control and inhibitory
effects
- Biological anaerobic ammonium oxidation (anammox)
- Practical experiences of nitrogen removal: real plants, biological
or chemical processes, treatment costs
- Instrumentation, control and automation of high loaded nitrogen
removal processes
- Microbiological and molecular techniques for the detection
and quantification of bacteria involved in nitrogen removal
Extended abstracts of a maximum of two pages plus one extended page
for additional figures and pictures following the sample layout downloadable
here must be received before October 16th 2006.
Organizing and Scientific Committees will assess abstracts on a basis
of technical content, quality and originality. Authors will be notified
of acceptance of oral or poster presentation by December 4th 2006.
The final selected oral or poster papers will be required of submitting
by March 15th 2007.
Participants are responsible for their travel and lodging
expenses and registration fees for the conference.
Official language of the conference will be English. Nevertheless,
simultaneous English to Spanish translation will be available.
